Artwork by Steuart Welch
Installed 2009
A large spiral shaped sculpture sitting atop a concrete plinth.
Steuart Welch stated that “In my earlier life as a farmer I would have seen rust as a sign of decay and depression. As an artists I have learned to embrace it as the true nature of steel.”
The sculpture is situated at the top of Millennium Hill, by the lookout, next to the Millennium Steps.
