The Amphitheatre area at the Gardens is perfect for outdoor performances. There have been four Shakespeare plays at the Gardens so far.
This is the only time the Gardens can be visited after dark, and watching a play while enjoying a picnic, with the sun going down, is a very special experience.
Discussions are ongoing about future performances.
The BBGT board would be very interested to hear from members of the public who wish to stage a play at the gardens. Help and guidance would be provided. Please contact us at basonbotanicgarden@gmail.com to discuss your ideas.
