Geocaching is like going on a local or global treasure hunt and is great fun for all ages. Just get your phone, create a free account. Choose a location where you want to find ‘treasure’, read the hints and away you go. The ‘treasures’ can be any shape and very small or very large. When you find one, open it, write your name and date on the paper list, look at the treasures in the container – you may exchange one for one of yours if you like – record it on the phone and go find the next one! You can even make your own geocache and register it on the geocache website www.geocaching.com How long does it take before someone finds it?
At the last count there were five geocaches in the Bason Botanic Gardens.
