We invite you to become a Friend of the Bason. As a Friend you will receive

periodic newsletters highlighting plants and upcoming events and any presentations as may occur from time to time
special offers on plants and/or seeds of special Bason plants, such as the Haemanthus (blood lilies), as they become available

Volunteers

On the last Tuesday of each month our Bason volunteers meet in the vicinity of the Homestead Garden, where they may be involved in potting up, weeding and general maintenance. From June to September they meet at 1pm, all other months at 10.30am.

Work is generally light and lasts for from one to three hours according to needs of both the garden and the individual volunteer’s availability.

We are always on the lookout for more volunteers and encourage plant enthusiasts of all ages to contribute and enjoy helping to keep the gardens looking their best. Anyone interesting in joining this friendly group should ring Janice 06 3442495 or John 06 3456417
