The archway is made of corten steel. Engraved in the steel is a quotation from Stanley Bason “Through the trouble of this world there still runs a thin stream of serenity for those who seek it.”
The entrance also features floral designs by Waverley glass artist Lisa Walsh, and reflect Whanganui’s position as the home of New Zealand glass art.
