The Bason Botanic Gardens have a large collection of deciduous trees. Spring sees them with delicate new foliage, in summer they give us shade and in autumn they dazzle with their fiery colours but in winter we get to see their beautiful shape and the intricate way the branches are formed. Especially so on a clear winter’s day against a blue sky.

There is something to admire in the gardens in every season.
